- Synopsis
- Did you ever play in a group? It’s like having a second family with whom you yearn for happiness and share unexpected adventures. The members of this “contemporary music” quartet meet up at their concerts like a family sitting down time and time again to the same table. Heading the motley lineup is the respectable-looking but rather stuffy Robert (Lukáš Melník). He and his attractive and disorderly girlfriend, cellist Simona (Barbora Poláková), extroverted joker Tomáš (Jaroslav Plesl), and a history buff nicknamed Funés (Zdeněk Julina) enjoy a lot of humorous situations, as well as misunderstandings, in pursuit of their “freest” composition. They also spend time in the legendary “Submarine Pub”, in the historical centre of their hometown, where they cross paths with the wild “Batrflaj” (Pavlína Štorková) and the quartet’s “personal” psychotherapist Sylva (Lenka Krobotová). Complications and slightly bizarre situations are constantly cropping up among the main heroes until an unplanned party finally brings a kind of catharsis, joy, and that long-sought-after feeling of happiness.
