    • Synopsis
    • Meryem (25) lost all of her family members in Aegean Sea between Bodrum and Kos Island because of sinking of their boat while trying to escape from the war in Syria. Superintendent Ibrahim (50), one of the coast-guard members, is about to retire helps Meryem who is the only survivor. After being retired Ibrahim married with Meryem in the same year and settled in Bozdogan town of Aegean Region.

      One another couple also settled in Bozdogan: Architecture Hayati (35) who got bored from Istanbul and his painter partner Bahar (30). After good days in the early years, things begin to change. Meryem cannot get through because of this severe trauma and day by day she wants to visit the beach where her family had died more and more since her inner world keeps whispering that she belongs to that sea. She tries another ways to go there when Ibrahim keeps rejecting these visits since Meryem is eager to receive his approval because of her duty of loyalty. At the same time, Bahar is in struggle to persuade Hayati to move back to Istanbul although he is satisfied with his current location. While these two women who are very different from each other
