After serving a twelve-year prison sentence and six months before his parole, Max is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given three months to live. He’s granted a compassionate release if he has someone who can take him in. But all he has is his daughter, Maxine, a single mother, who hasn’t spoken to him since he went to prison. With little time left, Max fights to rebuild his relationship with Maxine and his grandson, Ezra. But when his violent past catches up with him and his family, Max is forced to come to the defense of his family.
