- At the end of the 70s a visionary hippy, René Barbier, an ambitious young man, Álvaro Palacios, a romantic
  dreamer, Daphne Glorian, a wise scientist, Jose Luis Pérez and an all-around sharp guy, Carlos Pastrana, arrived in Priorat. They took a land with no future and turned it into one of the most important wine producing
  regions in the world. Today, they are known as The Magnificent Five. And they saw their dream come true, all the while drinking good wine.
