Alicia’s “perfect life” has recently been shattered into pieces. Her six year old son died in an accident and Alicia is plagued by guilt and grief, causing her to disassociate from society, from her husband, and even from herself. Alicia now lives in a rich colonial enclave surrounded by the city’s poorest neighborhoods. There she meets “Chief”, a street smart 13 year old who hustles anyway he can to survive. Alicia keeps her distance from Chief and the other Street Urchins of the neighborhood until one night when Chief shows up at Alicia’s door, bleeding from a gunshot wound, and begs her to take him in. What ensues is a suspenseful journey into what is true and who can be trusted.”
