    • Synopsis
    • PLAYING LECUONA is a musical journey though the works and living spaces of ERNESTO LECUONA, the most universal pianist and piano composer from Latin America.
The three most gifted Latin Jazz pianists in the world CHUCHO VALDES, MICHEL CAMILO and GONZALO RUBALCABA get together for this odyssey and tribute, and serve to guide us in this musical genre:
CHUCHO VALDES fuses Latin Jazz together with Afro-Cuban rhythms in LECUONA's native Havana.
MICHEL CAMILO recreates elegant aural soundscapes in New York, and in the Canary Islands. ERNESTO LECUONA acquired musical acclaim and is buried in New York, and has a family history and roots in Canary Islands.
GONZALO RUBALCABA fuses Jazz and Flamenco in Seville, the heart of Andalusia-Spain, and source of inspiration place for LECUONA.

These three masters delight us in solo or by performing with other luminary artists such as: OMARA PORTUONDO, ANA BELEN or RAIMUNDO AMADOR.
