- Synopsis
- PLATFORM is the story of three sister who are Wushu fighters. They come from a small town called Semirom; Shahrbanu, Sohaila and Elaheh Mansourian. They were born in a working class, poor family. From an early age their father made them work in the fields to earn money and support the family. When their father left, they decide to seek out a better life for themselves. They exercised, join the Iranian national Wushu team, win back-to-back championships and they begin to see a brighter future. Shahrbanu is the women's world record holder for gold medals; Elaheh is the only Wushu fighter in the lower weights who has beaten a Chinese opponent in the finals; and Soheila holds two world championship medals. First time Female filmmaker. World Premiere.
