In the biographical film "Pirate for the Sea" we accompany Captain Paul Watson, the youngest founding member of Greenpeace Canada, who had left Greenpeace because they were too harmless for him. Countless campaigns directed against the killing of whales, seals and dolphins were organized by him. But that was not enough for Paul Watson, because he wants results before it's too late. From then on, with his own organization, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, he capsized whaling ships, consistently hindered seal-hunting in the UK, as well as dolphin hunting in Japan and stopped seal hunting in Canada for only ten years to call. In this documentary we get an insight into the personal and the ecological career, into the latest discoveries and actions of this controversial environmental activist! The cameras are live and show how the man, against whom warrants are issued in various countries, disturbs whale catches and is shot at. Paul Watson is shown in the documentary from a page that you have never seen before in this way!
