- Her mother just died. Her father isn’t the one she thought.
  Elisa ends up jammed between an uncertain past and a future obstructed by the threat of marriage. Her quest for an improbable father, which is also a headlong rush, leads her from Paris to Lisbon, from the Seventies’ phantom to a phantasmal present.
  We bump into speaking dead bodies, we cross failing memories, and meet retired torturers reconverted in pigeon breeders. We come out, at the limit switch, onto a doubtful truth, opening on a new mystery.
