    • Synopsis
    • PEOPLE WE KNOW ARE CONFUSED covers three intimate days with three average people marooned in a state of change, looking to the future with hope, but not letting go of constricting and reassuring fears of their past. Goda (42), a seemingly confident woman, struggles to avoid intimate relationships with other men while dealing with a past trauma, her husband’s loss. Juste (23) lives with a concept of an ‘ideal’ approach to the family, which she did not herself experience. She works in a helpline while feeling stuck in her own relationship with her high-school sweetheart. And Vytas (53), a closet homosexual, takes steps to free himself from marriage, as contemporary Lithuania becomes more open-minded and accepting of the homosexual orientation, which 'did not exist' in Soviet times.
