    • Synopsis
    • The film Pedro tells the story of the only European court to pack its bags, crowns and titles and move to a tropical colony. It follows the drama of the first-born Prince Pedro, who grew up in the New World with an unloving mother and a father who was the object of mockery due to his constant panic about being the next victim of a liberal coup that was decapitating European kings and queens.
When the family returns to Europe, our protagonist Pedro is left behind. Alone at the age of 20, he will have to rule over a violent, chaotic and sensual colony and prove to everyone that he is a great man capable of occupying his father's throne.
