    • Synopsis
    • Peanut Butter follows Jamie, a French-born boy, as he navigates the ambiguities of pre-pubescence alongside his friends Sam and Jules. His mother, Nicole, a confident and career-driven widow, grapples with insecurities about what she can—and more importantly, cannot—provide for her son. In the absence of a father and with a mother who frequently travels for work, Jamie finds a parental figure in his sexually fluid overnight babysitter, Charlotte. While Charlotte has the naturally nurturing disposition of a mother, she is uncertain whether she ever wants the responsibility of having children.
