- Synopsis

  “What is the truth?”
  This sincere wish leads to a forbidden area within the police organization.
  Fingerprint matching, bloodstain analysis, image analysis...Although he does not stand in the front line of investigation, Mamoru Yonezawa, a member of Metroplitan Police Dept. CSI, a team of forensics specialists, copes with material evidence to come up with facts.
  One day, Yonezawa is called to an apartment where a woman was found dead. Cause of death seems to be cyanide poisoning. Seeing the woman’s face, he freezes. It was his wife, who walked out on him. At the scene, he becomes acquainted with Detective Aihara, claiming to be the woman’s husband. The police declares it is death by suicide, but Yonezawa and Aihara become dubious of this quick decision. Aihara’s painful cries recall Yonezawa’s bruised past. And the two finally make up their minds to...
  “Pursue the truth.”
  How did she come in possession of cyanide? The mysterious suicide note. The woman worked at the Youth Crime Prevention Association, a fringe organization of the Police. As the two begin their investigation of this organization, pressure comes from above.
  “They are trying to hide something.” The duo’s conviction deepens. The woman’s death is shelved by the dark elements of the police organization. This cannot be overlooked.
  As a CSI member and a detective as well as belonging to the system, the two step into forbidden territory!
