    • Synopsis
    • In 1947, India was divided in two and the nation of Pakhistan was created. Amid the resulting chaos, Gian, a Hindu, rescues Naseem, a Muslim, and shelters her from danger. Despite their different faiths, Gian and Naseem fall in love. But their families - each having been wronged by the other side during the conflict - cannot accept their union. When Naseem crosses the partition to visit her family, the two lovers must struggle against powerful forces in both governments to stay together and avoid becoming victims of history. Partition is the profound, sweeping story of a star-crossed love that transcends political and religious differences.
