- Synopsis
- After Cosakait, a wise nine year old girl, finds her grandparents dead; her mother Tomasa, an aborigine woman, her father Augusto, a polish peasant, and her two brothers Bruna and Mauro; leave the ranch, the drought and the hunger in the north of Argentina, to go on a trip to Pampa del Indio, Chaco, where lives the charismatic grandpa Cabito Yacaroi, an expert of Tobas aborigines’ old stories.
  Soon, in Pampa del Indio, Mauro finds friends to play, Bruna falls in love with a young doctor, Tomasa and Augusto build a new house next to Cabito, and Cosakait enjoy the stories that her grandpa tells her. But, some strangers arrive in the village with the intention to get the land.
