    • Synopsis
    • Pamela is a hairdresser, born in Chivilcoy, and an inexhaustible storyteller. She is a friend, companion, daughter, wife, and a transgender woman. In this documentary, Daniel Muchiut and Marina Carrasco take us into Pamela's world, as she narrates her story in the first person, recounting the acceptance she has found from her family, neighbors, and community. The film delves into Pamela's life, starting from her childhood in the 1970s when she played dolls with her neighborhood friend and went to the market dressed as a girl. It progresses to her adolescence when she started gathering with her fellow transgender friends at her parents' house before heading to the dance, a place where they could be their authentic selves. The documentary also captures significant milestones in Pamela's life, such as her legal name change and her wedding. Through these moments, we witness how she has built a fulfilling life for herself. Throughout the movie, the audience is left pondering: What is it about Pamela's life that leaves us astonished? The questions posed in the beginning persist until the very end, making us reflect on the remarkable impact of her journey.
