    • Synopsis
    • Maria, a huge baseball fan and self-professed "baseball nerd" since she was a little girl in Miami, has grown into a successful attorney in her native Puerto Rico. Peter was an all-star Major League shortstop and Maria's favorite player until injuries ended his career early. He arrives in Puerto Rico to help a former teammate coach Santurce in the Puerto Rican winter league. The pair meet and, although Maria immediately recognizes Peter, she pretends not to know him so that he doesn't dismiss her as just another groupie. But as the truth begins to come out, Peter feels betrayed. Will Maria's attempt at honesty actually push them further apart? With her Uncle Juan and her best friend Carmen's help, Maria will try to convince Peter that she's in love with the man, not the ball player, before he returns to the mainland.
