    • Synopsis
    • "OUT OF THE CAVE" is an enlightening journey through the recesses of the soul, inspired by the Platonic myth of emerging from the cave and Joseph Campbell's heroic monomyth. Set amidst the majestic valleys and mountains of Switzerland's Canton Ticino, the documentary follows Pier Luigi Lattuada (a doctor, psychologist, and psychotherapist) on his path toward understanding the Self and its connection with the world.
      Through the lenses of ancient spiritual traditions and Lattuada's experiences, the film explores the inner challenges we face on our journey toward personal growth. With a runtime of 68 minutes, "OUT OF THE CAVE" offers a transcendental visual experience that challenges viewers to explore their inner depths.
      The protagonist's narrative, rich with fertile reflections, intertwines with interviews with luminaries from the transpersonal world. Contributors such as Lama Michel Rinpoche, Serge Beddington- Behrens, Glenn Hartelius, Steve Taylor, Zana Marovic, Regina U. Hess, Les Lancaster, Brant Cortright, Jorge Ferrer, and Erica Francesca Poli enrich the storytelling by offering unique perspectives on freedom and serenity of the spirit.
