- Synopsis
- India has been facing terrorism ever since its independence in 1947. Sometimes in the name of Jihad, or sometimes just to weaken India through funding by external countries, terrorist attacks have been happening in the country, on the borders, or within the country. In 2008, there was an attack on the Taj Hotel in Mumbai. Many innocent people were killed. The fact that a terrorist could roam openly with an AK-47 was a new thing for the country and its first responding agencies. But in the end, the country's commandos neutralized all the terrorists. And out of those terrorists, one terrorist, "Kasab," was captured alive by a Mumbai Police constable with just a baton, "Tukaram," who sacrificed his life in the process. Kasab was later hanged. After 26/11, there was a significant improvement in the working conduct and training of our security agencies. On the other hand, the terrorist organization in the enemy camp felt the need to send another "Kasab" to fulfill their intentions, and they did send one. The story begins right from here. After one Kasab, there was a 180-degree change in the working style and attitude of the country's intelligence agencies. On the other hand, when the Mumbai Police received this tip, they also changed their way of working. Meanwhile, intelligence agencies set out to find the terrorist with a different intention. The country's two agencies come face to face with each other for the same objective. Finally, after clearing all misunderstandings, they join hands and work together, and the country doesn't even realize it, and the terrorist is eliminated. In this entire mission, officers who were suspended due to the system's mistakes during Kasab's time played a significant role. So, this is the film "Operation Maratha."
