1969 : Americans walk on the moon. Mehdi, 10 years old, enters the Lyautey school in Casablanca where his teacher, impressed by his intelligence and will to read, obtained him a scholarship.
He grew up in the mountains of Atlas. He learns a new and strange universe: the cafeteria and the dormitory.
