- Synopsis
- Thirteen year-old Sandro is the privileged son of a wealthy entrepreneur in a northern Italian city. When a sailing trip in the Mediterranean goes awry and the boy falls overboard in the middle of the night, Sandro is rescued by a fishing boat full of refugees trying to land illegally on the Italian coast. This encounter takes him into a strange new world, at once terrible and wonderful.
