    • Synopsis
    • Filmed in both Venezuela and Brazil, “Aqui en la Frontera” accompanies three Venezuelans facing one of the greatest migratory crises in Latin American history. Stephanny, a young mother, must return to Venezuela to bring back food to her family and pick her daughter up, but her return does not go as planned. Francis, a trans woman, leads a refugee camp administered by the Brazilian Military, while preparing for yet another change. Argenis organizes an informal settlement with over 300 migrants under threat of eviction.
