    • Synopsis
    • It’s winter in Atlántida, a seaside town located on the Uruguayan coast that is left empty in the low season.
Santiago (28), an apathetic man who is keen on sports and has no job or project in particular, settles down in his family’s summer house. In this place, he will be able to live far away from his mother and feel independent, at least, until the summer.
Marcos (30) works in a bike shop around the corner; he is a lonely alcoholic who rides a small bike holding a home-made nunchaku. From the first moment he feels attracted to the novelty that Santiago represents and will, persistently, try to get close to him and become his friend.
Edgardo (30), obsessed with security and keen on tennis, lives next to Santiago’s house together with his wife Sandra (25) and his son Alexis (4). Santiago, suffering with the cold and carrying little money, steals some firewood from his neighbour who will discover him through the security cameras installed in his house. After this first violent encounter, both will start building a cordial relationship in which each one of them will play the part they feel more convenient.
As spring arrives, the ties among the characters, with Santiago as the focus, will become more intense and will result in shady situations.
