- 2069. NUMANA, once just a company, is now the state. NUMANA BABIES was developed shortly after, a program to manufacture humans without genetic defects. Mia is the first NUMANA BABY. But for every perfect baby born, many are discarded. Alex is one of them: a failed version of Mia. Her fate was death, but a stroke of luck places her in the care of an adoptive family. Years later, when Mia discovers the dark side of the program run by her own father, she decides to join the rebellion to overthrow NUMANA. It all hinges on an impossible plan that comes to fruition the very night Alex and Mia see each other for the rst time. However, before they can gure out what is going on, everything goes wrong and chaos ensues. Mia disappears and Alex is mistaken for her, taking her place and discovering her real family, the one that once decided to get rid of her. However, no one knows that they have been switched and that the future of NUMANA depends on these two "sisters".
