    • Synopsis
    • Nothing to see nothing to hide, by Emidio Greco: a highly unusual biography; filmed documentation of his friend the artist Alighiero Boetti.

An auspicious event lies behind Niente da vedere niente da nascondere: the retrospective at the Kunsthalle in Basle that in the spring of 1978 documented Boetti’s career from the 19609s onwards, bringing together many of his most important works. Alternating shots from the Swiss museum halls and the artists studio overlooking Santa Maria in Trastevere in Rome with interviews, lectures, music and silences, the film follows a path both elliptical and faithful, with elegant sobriety, extraordinary freshness and a complete absence of that pedantic or involuntary comical satisfaction that frequently accompanies portraits of artists and studio visits.
