- Synopsis
- Young, ambitious lawyer Justus Wehner gets his first big case – the defense of brutal serial killer Peter Kurten. Wehner is certain that Kurten suffers from a severe mental disorder and to prove it delves deep into the killer’s past, motivation and psyche. Wehner also meets Kurten's wife Marie, who´s role in the case is more than mysterious. Why did the intelligent killer give himself to the police? What is the secret Marie hides and what is the real dilemma Wehner has to face? The three characters are caught in a fierce triangle that nobody can escape unharmed.
