- Synopsis
- Norma is an old trans woman who goes to live in an asylum because her daughter Laura don't accepted her at home. The relationship between mother and daughter has always been troubled. Due to the removal caused by Marília, Norma's ex-wife. Laura, always busy with work, also does not accept your identity as a gender and fears that living with her son, Abel, 10 years old is a bad influence. In the asylum, in addition to facing the pain of a new family breakup, Norma was accepted under the condition to dress and behave accordingly with the gender you were assigned at birth. The martyrdom of being away from the family and being censored by the director of the asylum, is softened by the warm welcome from her new friends, Flávia, Helena and Júlia. But as Norma lives in solitude, due to the absence of family visits, Abel grows up, becoming a teenager, and starts to charge Laura a resumption of the affective relationship with the grandmother. He and Norma deconstruct Laura's prejudice, reborn the frayed links, reuniting the family again.
