    • Synopsis
    • Rubino is a rebel. He wants to work in a big factory, but he is an intellectual, one of those wildly individualistic types; he demands his rights, but does not recognize the authority of those who should ensure them; he wants love but he manages only to cultivate hate; he participates in the "class struggle" but denies all social categories; he expresses political thoughts but resists politics. In the same way as he got the job, he wants to leave it, but not without having first blown it up, starting from his own crazy, quasi-criminal working methods.
Rubino is an uncut stone who strikes out at the face of hypocrisy of this post-industrial, post-modern, post-human society.
From the novel, ”Nicola Rubino enters the factory" by Francesco Dezio, this is not only the film version of the book but also its natural evolution, 5 years after the story the novel narrates. Author of the film, Mimmo Mongelli.
