- 20-year-old Jing Hao (Yee) has come to Shenzhen to live with his young sister (Chen), who needs expensive heart surgery. Their mother has passed away, and their father has left the family, leaving Jing Hao as sole provider for them both. Working in a small mobile phone repair shop, Jing Hao gets an opportunity to join a start-up, creating a business refurbishing old mobile phones. Thinking a better life is ahead, Jing Hao then unexpectedly faces a setback when a new government policy outlaws such practices.
