    • Synopsis
    • In Isla Trinitaria, one of Ecuadors’ most conflictive slum areas, two fellow teenagers struggle to get ahead under the guidance of 'El Destructor', a former boxer who seeks to redeem himself towards life.

      Pachín juggles in the streets to get away from family problems, while Anthony aka ‘The Rat’ tries to stay focused in his search for victory and recognition.
      In their joint attempt to achieve a more promising future, ‘El Destructor’ becomes their guide and father gure.

      After proving their innate talent, they will be part of the first group of Isla Trinitaria to represent their province in national competitions. Together, they seek to make the name of Isla Trinitaria stand tall and to become an example for other kids in their community.

      Siguiente Round is a character-driven documentary feature that closely follows their journey, reflecting a story about friendship and resilience in a stigmatized community.
