- The year is 2033. Three years prior, a virus wiped out almost 90% of the global population. Cities are no longer a safe place to live. New Birth City, which was set up with the remains of the global government and military, is a place were humanity could survive and search for a cure. The research is headed by Dr. Cornelius Van Morgen (Franco Nero), a world renowned biologist. Dr. Morgen choses five people from among the survivors and puts them up in an old country house in a desperate search to find a cure!
