    • Synopsis
    • Danielle, 65 years old, has been welcoming migrants for several months.
Housewife, she lost her husband and her children have grown up. Before, her life was focused on keeping the house in perfect order to satisfy a demanding husband. But for the past few months, young migrants have been passing through her home. She takes things very seriously, and is totally committed to her mission. She has become Mama Danielle. She is important. Her cell phone rings, vibrates, notifies. The big tables liven up the life of the house. Danielle gives without counting, even her bed to sometimes sleep on the couch.
But this ends up being a problem for her daughter Francesca. Yet, she is the one who suggested her to start helping migrants and likes to spend time with them. But today she thinks that her mother is doing too much. She is less devoted to her grandchildren, and the pasta dishes that were important to this Italian family have disappeared to make way for Sudanese specialities.
Danielle and Francesca will attempt mediation to find a new balance. But Danielle's volunteer work brings up some old family conflicts.
