- Ciro, a 12-year-old boy, longs for his father's attention, but Cristian's life revolves around alcohol and indifference. As Cristian fades in front of the television, Ciro's attempts to get him to bed are in vain. Chaos ensues when the news reports a series of paranormal events in the area.
  
  The insistent barking of the neighbor's dog captures Ciro's attention. He urges his father to pay heed, but he is ignored. The situation takes a terrifying turn when the neighbor begins screaming for help, and Ciro decides to investigate. He finds the neighbor in a catatonic state, and they inadvertently make eye contact, oblivious to the warning on the news: "Do not make eye contact with the anomalies."
  
  Terrified, Ciro attempts to warn his father, but Cristian is unable to see the entity that has infiltrated their home. Ciro seeks refuge in his room, while Cristian confronts the unknown. Objects move on their own, and a malevolent presence takes hold of the house. In his desperation, Ciro pleads with his father to protect him, but paralyzed by fear, Cristian steps aside, allowing the entity to take his son, and he is left to grapple with profound regret.
