- Synopsis
- Sequestered in Rome’s clandestine spiritual quarters, Nazareno, a caring nurse of the sick and elderly by day and cutthroat collector of debts by night, is experiencing a profound religious crisis spurred by the fateful implications of his name and a violent catholic upbringing. To alleviate these internal conflicts, he draws strength from his friendship with a strange girl who claims to be in contact with extraterrestrial lives. Determined to resolve his economic woes as well as those of his struggling family, Nazareno submits to the lure of the underworld and becomes entrusted by a mysterious ecclesiastic to perform a high-risk sting operation. Unaware of the true aim of the mission, he will find himself framed in a dangerous international trade...
