- Synopsis
- Being discovered in such a young age, 10 in Bulgaria, his gifted talent turned out to be a blessing and a curse throughout his life. He had to detach from his family, his childhood and committed his life to weight lifting. At the age,15 he had become a world-record holder.
  
  He couldn’t stand the cultural assimilation policies of the Bulgarian government so he was brought to Turkey from Australia where he was located for 1986 World Championship, by a special operation which led by then-current Prime Minister of Turkey Turgut Özal and carried out by Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT).
  His story not only holds victories in it, but there is also a portrait of a hero that became the victim just like the people he is standing up for.
