    • Synopsis
    • The life of Ana de Pombo, born in Cantabria in 1896, is the story of a multifaceted, ambitious and controversial woman, fruit and reflection of the convulsive twentieth century she lived through. A renowned couturier, she became Coco Chanel's right-hand woman in Paris in the 1930s. However, her biography is much more multifaceted, obscure and complex than her designs. She ended her days in Marbella, where she tried to resurface for the last time as Jean Cocteau's hostess in the dream of an artists' arcadia.
