Then, while on a business trip to Okinawa, he learns that his company is being charged with false product labeling and the scandal threatens to embroil him. Severely down on his luck, he decides to hide himself in Okinawa for a while. One day, he encounters the principal of a local foreign language school who gives him a temporary job as a Korean language instructor. Meanwhile, a single mother Sakura living with her young son and grandmother has made it her life goal to raise her son well. She quits her part-time job to seek a full-time employment as her son will begin school soon. After finally landing an interview, her desperation to get a job with a travel agency prompts her to tell a white lie, saying she can speak a little Korean. She is hired, but now has to apply herself rigorously to learning the language. She goes to a foreign language school where she meets Young Ung. Sympathizing with her struggle and admiring her courage, he accepts her request for private Korean lessons.
