    • Gregor (32) is happily married and a successful doctor - friendly, ambitious and professionally distant. He seems to have settled down. He acts responsibly, even towards the life of his younger brother Pietschi.

Pietschi constantly wanders through his aimless life. Yet capable of casting a spell on others so easily, he can’t keep friends for longer. Pietschi, who haven’t had achieved a regular income and a longer relationship so far.

As every year, the brothers go sailing at Pentecost. For Gregor everything feels usual – until Pietschi disappears without a trace.

Gregor’s everyday-life continues. The confusion remains. Pietschi does not respond on Gregor’s messages. Gregor receives Pietschi's apartment keys by fate. He contacts old friends and relatives, withholding what really bothers him. While Gregor has to realize how little he actually knew about his brother, he gets fascinated by his life more and more.

Evidence tells that Pietschi could be gone forever. Gregor develops a deep longing on his quest. A metamorphosis begins to arise. Gregor spends more and more time in Pietschi's apartment. He traces his brother’s echo as it compulsively fades away.

He disregards his own life. His work gets inaccurate. He gets estranges from his wife. He lies to people around him, even to himself. He reads Pietschi's mail, wears Pietschi's clothes and has sex with Jule - Pietschi's ex.

Within Pietschi’s fading shadows, Gregor experiences that part of his own personality, which have had no place in his life as a doctor and husband. When he finally realizes that he might be even stranger to himself than Pietschi is, he threatens to get completely lost in that other life.
