- Richard and Catherine were twenty years old, they loved each other, they got married. Years later, Catherine chooses a lover. Richard discovers the case, he despairs. Catherine runs away. She does'nt go far, she crosses the street and locks herself up in a room at the hotel across the street, room 212. From there, she now has a bird's eye view of her apartment, her husband, her marriage. Catherine wonders what she missed.
