    • Synopsis
    • The film’s director Tomoya Ishida knew very little about nuclear power and its consequences. Getting to know the pain and suffering of the people of Fukushima prefecture who were forced to move out of their homes, he wanted to become much more knowledgeable about nuclear power. He listened to nuclear scientists and experts who advocate for nuclear power and its use. He listened to those who renounce it and advocate alternative sources of energy such as solar energy. At the time of the catastrophe and the political and social pandemonium in its aftermath, what did Japan’s top leaders, the nuclear advocates and the general population go through? What does each of these segments say about Japan’s future? Three years have passed since the East Japan Great Earthquake, and the question is… Where is Japan headed?
Because of his desire to enlighten himself, he pressed forward with his questions despite the scorn, laughter and being labeled an “ignorant” man for not knowing about the nuclear power. This so-called ignorant man who had no fear set off on his journey to explore and uncover the facts and truth about nuclear power.
