    • Synopsis
    • Sadie is a novelist on maternity leave with her first baby. She’s isolated, trapped indoors by terrible weather, hasn’t written a word in months and now her agent is asking for new work. Despite her best efforts she’s hopelessly blocked, until one day she finds the inspiration she needs in an argument from beyond her living room wall. Her next-door neighbors - their squabbles, their lovemaking, their laughter - become the fuel for her new narrative. Sadie comes alive with possibilities these disembodied voices create in her mind. She begins to believe she might really be able to balance her career with the needs of her new family. But it all crashes to the ground again when an argument next door turns physical, then violent. Sadie now faces a moral dilemma that places her creative ambitions in direct opposition with her ethics. She’ll be forced to decide in a hurry what kind of person she really is, now.
