- Synopsis
- During the civil war in the 90s in Algeria, the police chief Brahim Llob, also novelist, is tracking every day the Islamists. He becomes the privileged target of the latter and it is with fear that he integrates each morning his office into the central Police station of Algiers.
  He must find the missing girl of a former senior official.
  Integrate, with a corrosive spirit and mockery, cynical and disillusioned, Llob enquires with his assistants, lieutenants Lino and Serdj.
  Very quickly, he realizes that he operates in mined ground. His investigation leads him on the track of an integrist terrorist group charged to eliminate the Algerian intellectuals.
  He meets characters implied in a scandal of the national Bank.
  Then he discovers, with the assistance of his colleague Dine, retired police chief, that he is manipulated by the politico-financial mafia.
  Being a danger for the government with the publication of his book denouncing the methods of the government, Llob is obliged to take his early retirement. But will he be safe ?
