    • Synopsis
    • Luis and Marta have been in a solid relationship for several years. However, a medical diagnosis, according to which he could have a brain tumor, completely changes the couple’s dynamic. While they wait for a second opinion, they decide to go away to a quiet house near the beach. There, the first signs of a crisis start to appear, with a mixture of very diverse and even contradictory feelings.

Marta’s selflessness in looking after him means she occasionally has to struggle with strong desires for freedom as a result of the reclusion imposed by their life in the house. Although Luis shows his gratitude for her dedication, he can’t help projecting some of his anger and rage towards Marta because he knows she will survive him and rebuild her life.

This whole cocktail of emotions accompanies them and grows during their journey back to the city, where Luis will have to undergo an emergency operation and spend time in hospital. He decides to interrupt this, discharging himself, so they can go back to the sea. It is there, with Luis’s illness at a very advanced stage, that the conflict that had been festering between them finally comes to the surface, with even a degree of violence.
