- Synopsis
- Monsters Within will recount the dramatic events and extraordinary character dynamics that led to the creation of two of the foremost literature and movie monsters – Frankenstein's monster and the modern vampire, in the summer of 1816. The documentary will focus on the emotions, the jealousies and dangerous minds behind the creation of the monsters, who were basically created on the very same night, in the very same house by the Geneva Lake in Switzerland, by Mary Shelley (Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus) and Lord Byron (The Vampyre).
