    • Synopsis
    • In the documentary MISTER TIERRA BOMBA, which is filmed over a period of five years, director Josephine LF accompanies Cristian, an Afro-Colombian LGBTI youth who lives on the Caribbean island of Tierra Bomba, in his quest to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional actor.

As time passes, Cristian publishes more and more photos of himself on social media and his image begins to change. Looking for a faster way ""to the stars"", he decides to leave his island to pursue his dream in the capital, Bogotá. But there he faces new challenges and the harsh reality of a racist audiovisual industry. The fight looms difficult and Cristian, who wants to obtain immediate results, decides to take another path.

MISTER TIERRA BOMBA is an unpredictable chronicle and transformative adventure in a “coming of age” story of a young islander who becomes an adult during the filming process.

In the end the film turns into what Cristian has always dreamed of: acting in a movie.
