- Synopsis
- SARAH (28, type cf. German actress Wolke Hegenbarth http://www.wolke.tv/) has found a place for herself, in India. Two years ago the pretty geologist dug a well for a small village in the Indian jungle, and she instantly fell in love with its people. She has stayed. This is exactly where she belongs. Just like the locals, Sarah firmly believes in fate and destiny.
  However, one day her little paradise is in danger. The well has been dry for weeks and there is no water available in the whole area. In order to save her village Sarah wants to drill a new hole. OSKAR (43, type cf. German actor Michael Lott http://www.michaellott.de/vita.php), an untrustworthy entrepreneur, also has an eye on the necessary equipment. He has the villagers’ savings stolen from Sarah and snatches the drilling equipment from under her nose. The village seems to be doomed to perish, but now Sarah’s fighting spirit has been awakened….
  In Mumbai Sarah meets MAX (34, type cf. German actor Henning Baum http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henning_Baum), a rough-and-ready trucker, who is supposed to transport the drilling equipment. Sarah makes him believe that she is working for Oskar and tries to direct his truckload to the jungle village. Sometimes you have to take fate into your own hands.
  On the dangerous route through the jungle Max finds out that Sarah has fooled him. Sparks fly immediately and the two decide to split up, but they can’t because the truck and its load is stolen and all of a sudden they are on the run together - the followers of an ancient ghost cult and the Indian police are after them. However, above all they are running away from their own feelings for each other. Although Sarah’s romantic belief in fate does not fit Max’s callous realism - somehow the quarrelsome duo gets along very well. Together they uncover Oscar’s unscrupulous plans for a gigantic fraud with drinking water. And this does not only mean that Sarah’s village will die of thirst, also the future of the metropolis of Mumbai is at risk…
  Together with little MANU (8) and WALDO (41), a former trucker who has esoteric inclinations, Sarah and Max want to avert disaster and stop Oskar. However, when they are carrying out their rescue plan they risk their lives again and again – almost ignoring that they are destined to be a couple….
