- Synopsis
- In a small border town in the Czech republic is a strong Vietnamese community. Vietnamese girl HIEN (14) was killed in this town 4 years ago. Her killers were her classmates. Because the killers were minors, they were placed in a reformatory from where they were released after they reached the age of 18. Now, after their release, our story begins. One of them is found dead. The other is on the run.  Then comes on the scene an experienced investigator from county criminal investigation department, captain KŘÍŽ (David Novotný) who was put in charge of the case. He´s a very traditional Czech guy, who isn´t eager to co-operate with a local Vietnamese policewoman ANH (Ha Thanh Špetlíková).  Intelligent and ambitious girl sees this case as an opportunity, but she is experiencing pressure from the locals who never quite accepted the fact that the Vietnamese girl can work for the police, and also from her family who never got over the fact that she chose this profession. In addition Kříž is very suspicious about her connection to the victim´s family.
