    • After serving 15 years in prison for car theft, John would like to avoid trouble and live a straight life. His attractive parole officer, Angela, challenges him to avoid his old friends and the lure of his old life, and instead find a job and honest stability.

John looks, but no one will offer him a job. Trouble maker old friends of his try to lure him back into his old line of work. John tries to resist for as long as he can.

He sees an old man putting a “Closed” sign on an old car wash. John asks if he could hire him. The old man says he can’t even afford to keep his current workers employed. These workers are a group of ragtag kids from disadvantaged families. John asks the old man for a chance to convince him that with some elbow grease, John can give this place a makeover that will attract clients and keep he and all those kids employed. The old man agrees to put off the sale of the lot for one week.

With the help of the kids, John cleans and re-opens the car wash. His first client is a man who drives through with his terminally sick daughter. After the wash, the daughter suddenly feels much better. Other clients resolve arguments and relationships when they drive through. Someone even wins on a scratcher lottery ticket for the exact amount he needs for his mom’s operation.

Business picks up with word that good things seem to happen to people who travel through the car wash. John’s attractive parole officer is impressed. A newspaper even interviews John on this success. The kids brand the place with a new slogan: Miracle Wash… Where good things happen.

The evil leader of the crime syndicate that John worked for sees how well the car wash is doing and want to buy it for himself. He threatens the old man owner. When they are refused, they set fire to the car wash while three stolen cars are inside and tip the cops that John did it. John is arrested.

The kids raise money to save the car wash and bail out John, who they know is innocent. But the crime syndicate visits the old man again, and it’s worse this time…

Will John and the kids be able to defeat the forces of evil and keep the car wash open so it continues to help them and their community?
