- Synopsis
- Mira lives with her father in an abandoned village. Her mother died during childbirth and father, who could not reconcile himself to the loss of his wife, is convinced that the same illness that killed the mother will not allow her daughter to give birth. The world craves for love and one day Mira goes to a tree, which, according to beliefs, fulfills wishes. Soon, during a night storm, a young officer appears at her house, who mistakenly got off the train. In the absence of his father, Mira welcomes the guest and, believing that he is sent to her, responds to his affection. The next morning the guest leaves, and after a while it turns out that the girl is pregnant. Now Mira faces a dilemma – to consider the event as a random encounter or a fact of destiny, to save herself or the child?
