    • Synopsis
    • The overnight adventure of a “homeless” man, who cannot adapt to city life, and of three police officers, who want to get rid of him. During their night duty, officers Zehra (35), Halil (45) and Emin (39) are working at the municipality police department, and are assigned to a job by a call from the mayor. According to him, a homeless-lunatic was lying down at the heater at the Cultural Center, where activities were organized, and not getting up. The job of the officers is to take Şemsi (47), who had wet himself, to a convenient place .Şemsi does not want to get up from where he is lying down as it is very cold outside. However, the officers persuade him to do so by promising that they will not throw him in the street. The Kango-type vehicle they are driving stinks because of Şemsi and the officers have an argument among themselves on opening or closing the window. Before this argument and during it, they act as if Şemsi, whom they do not know at all, is non-existent. Şemsi is an insignificant person for them and he is even “redundant”. They do not consider him from the aspect of being a human being and believe that he is a pain in the neck.
